Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Afonso Severo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Prince Ali!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ali napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Severo looking to control but instead Ali has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Ali is trying to get back to full guard.
Severo stalling away here and it's allowed Ali to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Severo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ali dives on top into guard.
Ali works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Severo tries to get to full guard but Ali has control of the leg.
Severo looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Severo wants to improve his position but Ali is controlling well.
Ali is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Severo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ali.
Ali is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ali is working for a submission of some sort.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Severo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ali pushes down on Severo's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Severo trying to control from the bottom.
Ali prevents Severo from improving his position.
Severo wants to control the action here but instead Ali manages to pass to full mount!
Ali looking to control but Severo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ali has hold of Severo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Severo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ali is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Severo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Severo!
Severo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ali working for a triangle but Severo defends it easily.
Ali keeping moving, preventing Severo from controlling successfully.

Severo is looking to stand up but Ali won't let him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Severo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Severo content to stall in guard here.
Severo looking to sit in guard and control but Ali gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ali tries to free his leg and advance position but Severo is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prince Ali dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Severo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ali misses with a two punch combination.
Severo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ali circles away.
Ali lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ali pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Prince Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Severo misses with a series of wild punches.
Ali turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ali lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ali throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ali dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Severo. That did some damage!
Severo shoots for a takedown but Ali saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice uppercut there from Ali.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Severo takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ali throws a nice outside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Severo takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Good leg kick by Ali there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Whack! Ali lands a heavy head kick that drops Severo. The ref tackles Ali to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Severo was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Prince Ali!
