Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turtles throws a body punch but Shakur moves out of range.
Shakur shoots in but no luck this time.

Turtles shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shakur's guard.
Shakur tries to strike from the bottom.
Shakur escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turtles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Turtles looks up at the clock and then as Shakur takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Turtles smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Turtles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
