Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Lennox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Sugar Ray - Mean Machine. Lennox has chosen This Life as his entrance music. Mike Steel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Lennox!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennox lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A punch lands to the side of Steel 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lennox avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd cheers as Lennox lands an impressive looking overhand right. Steel doesn't seem phased though.
Steel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lennox finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Steel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lennox paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Steel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mike Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Steel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lennox defends it nicely.

Steel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Lennox leaves Steel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fight stays on the outside here - Steel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Steel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lennox throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Steel on the side of the head.
Lennox displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Steel.
Lennox tries a head kick but it misses.
Lennox keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Steel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lennox swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Steel shoots in and drives through. Lennox sprawls well.
Lennox throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lennox throws a series of strikes that have Steel backpedaling.

Steel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Steel there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lennox fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Lennox is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lennox lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lennox.
Steel moves out of range of the leg kick from Lennox.
Lennox lands with a nice combination. Steel backs away looking to recover.
Steel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Steel moves in looking to clinch but Lennox pushes him off.

Lennox lands with a hook. Steel tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Steel takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A jab from Lennox does it's job there.

Lennox is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Steel's half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lennox is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Lennox counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Steel is trying to keep Lennox in close.
Steel tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lennox throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Steel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Lennox drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Lennox as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Steel screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Lennox! Nice submission victory there!
