Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Whittaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Dickerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dickerson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Aint I kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Gary Whittaker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Buster Dickerson's chin.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whittaker shoots in but Dickerson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Whittaker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dickerson but Dickerson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Whittaker throws a combination. Dickerson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Whittaker could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dickerson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whittaker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dickerson has hold of Whittaker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Whittaker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Whittaker is looking to improve his position but Dickerson isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dickerson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Whittaker is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Whittaker and Dickerson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Dickerson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Whittaker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
