Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Chora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mercedes Benz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pedro Chora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mercedes Benz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chora is fending him off so far but Benz persists. Nope, Chora circles away and we're back to standing. Chora shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Benz's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Benz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chora doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chora manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chora stands up from Benz's guard - Chora perhaps looking for a knockout. Chora drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Chora wants to control from the top but Benz keeps moving. Benz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chora doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chora manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chora controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Chora has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Chora looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Chora avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chora forces his way into half guard. Chora is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Benz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Chora is trying to work for a kimura but Benz is defending well.
Chora is breathing heavily. Benz looking for submissions off his back. Benz actively working from the bottom here. Benz is defending against the submission attempts here by Chora.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Benz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chora can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Chora trying to control but Benz is working from the bottom. Chora drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chora jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Benz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chora is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Benz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chora's back instead. Chora can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Benz has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Chora is defending well but eventually Benz manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Chora has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
