Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Poy Jakkapan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mullen has chosen Country Boy Can Survive as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Poy Jakkapan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Mullen! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Jakkapan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mullen misses with a straight left. Jakkapan moves away from the strike by Mullen. Mullen jabbing away but nothing is landing. Mullen throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Mullen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jakkapan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Jakkapan tries a head kick but it misses.
Mullen looks to land a right hand but Jakkapan moved out of range. Mullen looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Mullen thows a big elbow that misses. Mullen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mullen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jakkapan's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jakkapan keeping moving, preventing Mullen from controlling successfully. Mullen thows a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jakkapan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mullen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mullen stands up from Jakkapan's guard - Mullen perhaps looking for a knockout. Jakkapan is breathing heavily. Mullen waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Jakkapan. Jakkapan throws a right and a left that Mullen avoids nicely. Poy Jakkapan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mullen bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jakkapan's head. Jakkapan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A slapping leg kick lands for Mullen.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Mullen and Jakkapan goes tumbling to the canvas! Mullen follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Jakkapan is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mullen scores with a big shot! Jakkapan's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Jakkapan! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Mullen!
