Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arshavin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Arshavin throws a series of punches but Neto avoids them all with ease.
Neto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Arshavin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Neto wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Arshavin is not content to let Neto control the position.
Neto tries for a kimura but Arshavin is defending well.

Neto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Arshavin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Andrei Arshavin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick from Arshavin lands but Neto takes it in his stride.

Arshavin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well Arshavin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
