Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Sun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RJ McLovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLovin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ready For The Fight. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that RJ McLovin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, RJ McLovin! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McLovin misses with a wild combination.
Sun throws a head kick that misses. McLovin lands a jab-cross combination. McLovin tries to clinch up. McLovin has a takedown stuffed. Sun looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. McLovin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sun! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. McLovin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Sun keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sun tries to lock up and control but McLovin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sun is desperately trying to improve his position but McLovin has a good base and remains in mount. McLovin controlling his opponent. Sun in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Sun takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. McLovin misses with a series of wild punches.

McLovin is lucky that one didn't land flush. RJ McLovin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Daniel Sun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for McLovin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

McLovin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. McLovin forces Sun back against the cage and clinches. Sun is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sun misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McLovin wants to slow Sun down by chopping away at his legs. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McLovin.
McLovin instigates a clinch. McLovin tries to break the clinch but Sun is controlling the position. McLovin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. McLovin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sun fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McLovin, as that shot connected.
McLovin dives in and grabs Sun's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sun pushes down on McLovin's head and hops out. Sun on the wrong end of a nice hook. McLovin avoids the head kick by Sun.
McLovin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. McLovin fails to land a wild elbow strike.
McLovin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McLovin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sun has escaped the position, nice work there. Sun trying his best to control but McLovin has mounted him. Sun on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sun tries to get out of the position. McLovin controlling the pace for now. Sun tries to hold on but McLovin postures up. McLovin fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

McLovin content just to control the position here. Sun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McLovin on the ground. Sun wants to hold on but McLovin pushes him away. A nice elbow there by McLovin. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McLovin looking to control but Sun is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McLovin has control of Sun's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sun regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sun is squirming around, avoiding McLovin's attempts to control the action. Sun tries to lock up and control but McLovin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. McLovin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Let's hope that McLovin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

RJ McLovin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Some bone on bone action there as Sun checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Sun tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McLovin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sun prevents McLovin from breaking the clinch. McLovin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McLovin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sun wants to control but McLovin is having none of it. Sun working to try and regain half guard.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sun manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Despite being in the dominant position, RJ McLovin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McLovin tries for a takedown but Sun circles away easily and Sun counters with a flying knee. Nice.
And that's the end of the fight! RJ McLovin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got McLovin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
