Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Jeffries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock's entrance music is Jesus Walks - Kanye West. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeffries moves in looking to clinch but Shamrock pushes him off.
Jeffries tries to clinch up.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Shamrock.
Shamrock has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Jeffries is squirming around, avoiding Shamrock's attempts to control the action.
Shamrock looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jeffries is looking to improve his position but Shamrock isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
