And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dill Doe!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe blocks the body kick.
Valua scores with the left hand. Doe knows he should have avoided that one.


It looks like Dill Doe has been cut.
Doe avoids a kick to the body.
Doe takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Doe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Doe is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Valua looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doe is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Doe trying to control the position from guard on top but Valua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Doe content to stall in guard here.
Valua will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Doe wants to pass the guard but Valua is keeping the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Doe lands a couple of elbows.
Doe is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Doe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valua swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Valua wants to stand and escape but Doe is having none of it.

Doe trying to control but Valua is working from the bottom.
Doe throws a big right hand that misses.
Doe wants to stand but Valua is controlling his posture from full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Doe won't allow Valua to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Doe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Maik Valua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Valua wants to clinch.
Valua swats away the attempt to clinch by Doe.
Doe shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Valua as he jumps to the side.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Valua misses with the combination.
Valua scores with a nice head shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Dill Doe's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Valua tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Doe counters by clinching up.
Doe wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Valua has him pressed against the cage.

Valua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice shot by Valua.
Valua lands a jab to the head.
Doe doesn't manage to clinch there - Valua circles away.
Valua drops Doe with a big left hand and mounts him. Doe is in big trouble!


Doe is rocked!
Doe is trying to escape the mount.
Doe is still in real trouble! Can Valua finish him?
Valua sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Doe throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Doe seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Valua content just to control the position here.
Doe keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Valua avoids the attempt from Doe to control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Doe is trying desperately to improve position.
Valua controlling his opponent.

Valua stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Maik Valua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Valua waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Doe.
Doe just misses with a punch to the body.
Doe misses with a body shot.
Valua scores with a punch to the head.
Doe fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Valua swinging wilding here.
Doe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valua but Valua pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Valua misses with an uppercut.

Doe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Valua sprawls well initially but Doe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Doe in particular looking to stall.
Doe is breathing heavily.
Valua is refusing to be controlled, as Doe sits in half guard.
Valua is trying to stand back up but Doe is controlling him
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Valua fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doe, pushing him back against the cage.
Valua has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Valua breaks from the clinch.
Doe doesn't manage to clinch there - Valua circles away.
Doe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Valua.
Doe keeps the fight on the outside.

and Valua counters with a stiff right hand.
Valua is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Nice uppercut lands for Doe. That snapped Valua's head back.


It looks like Maik Valua has been cut.

Doe pushes Valua up against the cage in a clinch.
Doe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Doe can't break the clinch.
Doe can't get the takedown.

Valua breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Valua looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Doe ducks under a wild hook from Valua.
Dill Doe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Valua fails to land with a series of punches.
Valua lands an overhand right.
A telegraphed right hand from Valua misses the target.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Valua throws a head kick but Doe moves out of range.
Valua looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Valua closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Valua takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Doe fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Valua is out of range.

Doe gets the takedown into side control.
Doe lands a few punches from side control.
Valua avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Doe.

Doe is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Valua has escaped the position, nice work there.
Doe trying to control the position but Valua is working away.

Doe in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Doe working the head with strikes.
Valua is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Valua throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Doe doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Valua connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Maik Valua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dill Doe.
Valua moves into range and connects with a jab.
Doe shoots in for a takedown but Valua shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Maik Valua is winning the standup battle so far.

Doe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Valua was covering up waiting for the punch and Doe finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Doe prevents Valua from getting back to his feet.
Dill Doe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Doe drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Valua dives on top into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Dill Doe.
I think Valua has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
