Suvorov's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, World in Conflict - Polyushko-Pole.. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ed Valquez enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suvorov cracks Valquez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Ed Valquez has been cut.
Suvorov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Valquez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Valquez misses with a takedown attempt - Suvorov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Suvorov misses with a straight left.
Valquez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Suvorov swivels and escapes.
Suvorov punishes Valquez's body with a nice straight punch.

Suvorov misses with a two punch combination.
Valquez throws a big shot that misses.
Suvorov stuffs the takedown.
Alexandr Suvorov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Valquez.
Suvorov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Valquez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Suvorov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Valquez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Suvorov counters with a nice uppercut.

Valquez looks to land a left hand but Suvorov moved out of range nicely.
Suvorov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Suvorov throws a series of strikes that have Valquez backpedaling.
Valquez throws a predictable looking body shot
and Suvorov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Alexandr Suvorov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Valquez counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Suvorov wants to sweep but no luck.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Suvorov is on top in guard.

Valquez has his foot on Suvorov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Suvorov works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Suvorov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valquez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Suvorov has managed to get both his arms back between Valquez's legs - danger averted.
Suvorov is stalling in the full guard.

Valquez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Suvorov rolls with it to try and escape but Valquez cranks on the arm and Suvorov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
