Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Master BJJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santana bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Master BJJ sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Santana trying to mount his opponent but Master BJJ defends it.
Master BJJ is refusing to be controlled, as Santana sits in half guard.
Master BJJ wants to control but Santana is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Santana throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Santana prevents Master BJJ from standing back up.
Master BJJ keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Santana seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Royce Master BJJ has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Santana.
Santana wants to improve his position but Master BJJ is controlling well.
Master BJJ seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Santana is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Master BJJ's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Master BJJ's back!
Master BJJ manages to reverse the position and now he's in Santana's guard. Nice work there by Master BJJ.

Royce Master BJJ is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Master BJJ shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Santana defends it nicely.

and Master BJJ counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Santana's guard now.
Santana seems keen to control Master BJJ's posture.

Santana is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Master BJJ is aware though and is defending well.
Master BJJ stays in close to Santana's body and controls the position.
Royce Master BJJ overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Santana has his foot on Master BJJ's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Master BJJ works his way back into a safe position though.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Santana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Master BJJ swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Master BJJ bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Santana's guard.

Master BJJ cracks Santana with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

BOOM! Master BJJ connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Master BJJ goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Santana turns into him and now he's in Master BJJ's guard.
Santana wants to control from the top but Master BJJ keeps moving.
Master BJJ is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Master BJJ can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Santana is looking to escape.
Santana wants to hold on but Master BJJ pushes him away.
Santana holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Master BJJ tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Master BJJ tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Santana is in all sorts of trouble here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Royce Master BJJ.
Well Master BJJ has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
