The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burroughs misses with a series of wild punches.
Russo throws a good cross that connects.
Burroughs throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Russo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Russo throws a shot to the body.
Burroughs swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Russo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Russo stalling.
Russo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Russo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Burroughs has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burroughs wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Russo controlling the pace for now.
Russo takes Burroughs's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Burroughs is in trouble.
Burroughs controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Russo has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Burroughs's body.
Russo sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Burroughs taps out!
