3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Squetsie Doubleday! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doubleday shoots in for a takedown but Manbearpig shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Manbearpig gets a takedown into half guard. Doubleday pushes Manbearpig off looking to stand but Manbearpig dives back in and keeps control.
Doubleday wants to control but Manbearpig is keeping busy and won't allow it. Manbearpig is trying to control the action in half guard but Doubleday is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Doubleday has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Manbearpig is working away from the top position though. Manbearpig is trying to control. Doubleday wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Manbearpig is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Doubleday is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Manbearpig postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Doubleday seems keen to control Manbearpig's posture.
