Soares de Sousa has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. decio aquino is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
aquino shoots for a takedown but Soares de Sousa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Soares de Sousa is breathing heavily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from aquino.
Soares de Sousa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but aquino paws at him with a jab and circles away.
aquino shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Soares de Sousa sprawls well. Soares de Sousa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. aquino gets slowly back to his feet.
Rafael Soares de Sousa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of decio aquino.

aquino feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Soares de Sousa tries to free his leg and advance position but aquino is retaining full guard.
Soares de Sousa got a little sloppy there for a moment and aquino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Soares de Sousa has managed to get both his arms back between aquino's legs - danger averted.

aquino is looking to sinch up a triangle. Soares de Sousa throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to aquino's body to avoid the submission. aquino has instead reached around Soares de Sousa's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! aquino arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
