Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Count Hytthu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Patron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patron tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hytthu swivels and escapes.
Hytthu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Patron throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Patron shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Patron trying to control but Hytthu is working from the bottom.
Patron drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Patron jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Patron connects with a couple of short punches.
Hytthu has his foot on Patron's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Patron works his way back into a safe position though.
Hytthu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Patron can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hytthu is breathing heavily.
Hytthu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Patron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Patron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hytthu throws his legs up looking for a submission but Patron uses it to pass to side control.

Patron is looking to take a break and control but Hytthu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Patron is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hytthu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Patron seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Patron shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hytthu defends it nicely.

Oh but Hytthu is tightening it up a little... Patron has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Patron reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Patron taps out! nice BJJ there by Hytthu!
