Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Paulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ping Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ping Wong enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryan Paulo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ping Wong!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulo wants to clinch up but Wong keeps it at a distance.
Paulo is looking to clinch but Wong is avoiding it.
Paulo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wong fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Paulo avoids it really well and circles away.
Wong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Paulo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wong moves away.
Paulo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice sprawl there from Paulo as Wong shoots in.

Let's hope that Wong has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

I looks like Wong might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Paulo leaves Wong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Paulo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wong is proving hard to escape from.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wong is on top in guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryan Paulo.
I think Wong has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
