Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas has chosen Rubber Chicken by Caspa as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as John Douglas enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Douglas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kong won't be happy with that.
Douglas creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kong sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Douglas is not content to let Kong control the position.

Kong is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Douglas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
