The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lecter fails with a takedown attempt.
Nogueira shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lecter is trying to defend but Nogueira finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nogueira connects with a nice short shot to Lecter's temple.
Ground and pound from Nogueira.
Nogueira winds up and cracks Lecter with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nogueira in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lecter tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nogueira!
