1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andy Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tank Abbot! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. An inside leg kick from Abbot misses. Abbot fails to land with a series of punches.
Abbot throws out a leg kick but Kane moves out of range and Abbot only half commits. Kane throws a left and a right that both miss
and Abbot counters with a one-two to the body. Kane scores with a one two! Abbot had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Abbot showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kane.
Kane throws a combination that misses and Abbot holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kane letting Abbot take a breather here. Abbot lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kane backwards. A head punch blocked on the inside by Abbot. Kane tries for a takedown. No joy.

That was a close round but I would say that Andy Kane will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Kane can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

and Abbot connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Abbot circles away quickly and effectively. Kane has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Kane shoots in for a double leg but Abbot sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Abbot lands a with a good body shot. Abbot comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Abbot tries to clinch up. Kane scores with the left hand. Tank Abbot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
