Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaniff misses with a few strikes there.
Veb wants to clinch up but Kaniff keeps it at a distance.
Veb drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Veb thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kaniff has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Veb can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Veb trying to move into half guard but instead Kaniff has managed to sweep!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Veb looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kaniff is one step ahead there.
Kaniff controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kaniff sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Veb's guard.
Veb wants to get back to full guard.
Kaniff is keen to just control but Veb is a slippery customer.
Veb makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Veb.
Veb has a closed guard, preventing Kaniff from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaniff pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Veb is keeping the position for now.
Veb is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kaniff loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Veb manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kaniff wants to get back to his feet.

Veb has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

I really don't envy Kaniff right now.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kaniff is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Veb is trying to stick to Kaniff's back but Kaniff is turning into Veb. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Veb's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kaniff.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kaniff misses with a two punch combination.
Veb forces Kaniff back against the cage and clinches.
Veb tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A short body shot lands from Kaniff as the two fighters clinch.
Veb tries a knee to the head but Kaniff blocks it.

Veb connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kaniff's face.
It looks like Ken Kaniff has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Veb lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Veb has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kaniff defend it? Veb steps over the head and cranks it - Kaniff is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Veb!
