Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Bicket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Capture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Capture has chosen "Soul Survivor" - Young Jeezy ft. Akon as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bicket lands with a slapping head kick.

Capture looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bicket!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Capture cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Capture seems to be working for a kimura but Bicket defends the submission attempt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Capture can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bicket working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Capture is looking to stand back up but Bicket counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Capture.
Bicket is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bicket seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Capture for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sonny Bicket just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Capture gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bicket to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bicket stands up over Capture, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bicket shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Capture sprawls well. Capture wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bicket gets slowly back to his feet.

Bicket seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Bicket is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bicket is pressing down on Capture's thigh, looking to free his foot. Capture is holding on for now.
Capture is staying active underneath Bicket, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Capture is looking to control Bicket's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Capture avoid being mounted?

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Capture lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Bicket keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bicket changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Capture looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bicket has hold of Capture's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Capture seems comfortable defending it but Bicket has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Capture is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Capture is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bicket couldn't care less - he's delighted!
