Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Phosphate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Phosphate is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Pan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Phosphate! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phosphate takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Phosphate misses with a takedown attempt - Pan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pan slips a jab and a cross from Phosphate.
Phosphate shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Phosphate showed some decent athleticism there. Phosphate looks gassed! Pan tries to roll over but Phosphate keeps him under control. Pan is looking to escape. Pan keeping hold of Phosphate's head, controlling as best he can. Phosphate sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pan defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Phosphate scores with a couple of nice shots. Phosphate winds up and cracks Pan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Phosphate thows a huge punch but Pan dodges it nicely.

Pan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pan tries to get out of the position. Phosphate throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Phosphate not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Pan tries to roll over but Phosphate keeps him under control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Phosphate forces Pan back against the cage and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pan has Phosphate pressed against the cage.
Phosphate jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pan walks away with a smile on his face. Phosphate gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Pan looks to land a right hand but Phosphate moved out of range. Pan tries to clinch up but Phosphate circles away and keeps his distance. Phosphate throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pan's waist but Pan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Phosphate off to one side. Peter Pan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Phosphate. Pan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Pan fails to land with a series of punches.

A right-left combo lands from Pan. Peter Pan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pan displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Phosphate lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Phosphate. Pan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Phosphate counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pan! Phosphate trying to control but Pan is having none of it. Phosphate lands a big shot there that rocks Pan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Phosphate is working for a guillotine from mount but Pan frees his head quite easily.
Pan holds on, trying desperately to control. Phosphate has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Phosphate thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Phosphate cracks Pan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Phosphate working Pan over with strikes here. Phosphate pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pan is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Phosphate landing punches. Phosphate looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Pan dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Phosphate tries to clinch but Pan moves out of range. Phosphate throws a right hand that Pan ducks under and follows up with a left that Pan also avoids with ease. Phosphate shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pan but Pan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Phosphate swinging wilding here.
Pan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Phosphate moves into the clinch. Pan works on Phosphate's body with a couple of short punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phosphate has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Pan tries to break free but Phosphate pushes him back against the cage. Phosphate keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pan's efforts to push away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Phosphate wants a takedown but no success here.
Peter Pan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Phosphate.

Pan lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Phosphate or not. Pan wants to break free but Phosphate has control.

Pan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Phosphate. Pan slaps away a takedown attempt from Phosphate, before circling back to the center of the mat. Phosphate circles away from the clinch attempt and Phosphate counters with a three punch combo that has Pan backing up. Pan nods at Phosphate to acknowledge the strikes. Pan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Phosphate tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Phosphate somewhat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pan throws a right and a left that Phosphate avoids nicely. Phosphate takes a shot right to the bread basket. Phosphate scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Phosphate. Phosphate throwing shots but Pan is blocking nicely. Phosphate wants to control but Pan is keeping him busy. Pan is trying to get back to full guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Phosphate connects with a nice short shot to Pan's temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pan is defending against the submission attempts here by Phosphate.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Phosphate throwing shots but Pan is blocking nicely. Pan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Phosphate on the ground. Phosphate thows a huge punch but Pan dodges it nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice sprawl there from Pan as Phosphate shoots in. Peter Pan is winning the standup battle so far. Phosphate keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pan. Phosphate shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pan but Pan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Phosphate uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pan. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Peter Pan will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Phosphate scores a takedown into full mount! Pan really wants to buck Phosphate off and get back to his feet. Pan tries to hold on but Phosphate pushes him away. Phosphate thowing shots but they're missing. Phosphate sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phosphate looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Pan wants to control but Phosphate is having none of it. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Phosphate working for a guillotine from mount but Pan is in no mood to give up. Phosphate throwing strikes here but Pan is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Phosphate thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pan taking shots to the head. Phosphate punishing his opponent with strikes. Pan tries to lock up and control but Phosphate gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Phosphate scoring with strikes but Pan is staying in there. Phosphate lands a big elbow. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pan is trying to stand up. Pan working to try and regain half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! John Phosphate comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
