Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Pradnovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrence Middleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrence Middleton will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pradnovic shoots in for a takedown but Middleton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Middleton catches Pradnovic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pradnovic is defended easily by Middleton.
Middleton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pradnovic on the side of the head.

Pradnovic looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Pradnovic seems to be working for a kimura but Middleton defends the submission attempt.

Pradnovic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Middleton is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Pradnovic pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pradnovic missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Middleton is looking to improve his position.
Pradnovic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Middleton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pradnovic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Middleton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pradnovic closes this distance looking for a takedown but Middleton circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Pradnovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pradnovic walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Pradnovic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A jab from Middleton does it's job there.

Middleton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pradnovic takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pradnovic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pradnovic is breathing heavily.
Middleton keeps the fight on the outside.
Pradnovic throws a left and a right that both miss
and Middleton counters with a stiff right hand.
Pradnovic falls off balance throwing a combination
and Middleton counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Middleton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pradnovic.
Middleton clobbers Pradnovic with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Pradnovic doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Middleton to counter with a crisp jab.
Middleton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Middleton keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Pradnovic misses with a takedown
and Middleton counters with a three punch combo that has Pradnovic backing up. Pradnovic nods at Middleton to acknowledge the strikes.
Pradnovic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Middleton throws a good cross that connects.
Middleton's corner calls for a 1-2. Middleton obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pradnovic shoots and misses
and Middleton counters with a straight right hand.
Pradnovic with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Middleton to score with a decent uppercut.
Middleton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Middleton scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle momentarily. Middleton darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Pradnovic is rocked!
Middleton lands a glancing blow to the side of Pradnovic's head.
Oh Pradnovic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Middleton tests Pradnovic's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Middleton rushes Pradnovic with punches - Pradnovic moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Pradnovic goes down! Middleton follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
