Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wu Tang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wu Tang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wu Tang! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A big left from Davis misses. Tang fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ryan Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tang slips a straight right by Davis. Davis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tang. Tang takes one on the button. Davis misses with a wild combination.

Davis cracks Tang with a good jab. Davis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tang to score an easy takedown into full guard. Davis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tang is looking to work some ground and pound but Davis has wrist control. Tang throwing strikes from guard but Davis blocks nicely. Tang connects with a couple of short punches. Tang drops back looking for a leg! Davis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Davis manages to kick Tang off! Tang jumps back into Davis's guard. Tang postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tang on the ground. Tang postures up in Davis's guard and throws a big left but Davis blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tang pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davis is keeping the position for now. Tang throwing strikes from guard but Davis blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tang drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Davis dives on top into guard. Tang throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Tang looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davis is one step ahead there. Tang lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Davis! Davis is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tang has control of Davis's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Davis regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Tang lands with some strikes. Davis wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A nice elbow there by Tang. Tang lands a nice shot to the head. Tang scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Tang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Davis avoids a series of strikes thrown by Tang.

Tang sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tang with a couple of short strikes. Tang is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Tang extends the arm and Davis is forced to tap!
