The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zer pushes Mercer up against the cage in a clinch.
Zer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mercer.

Zer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Zer tries to move into range but Mercer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Zer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mercer manages to get himself to full guard.

Mercer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Mercer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Zer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mercer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Zer's back instead.
