Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson has chosen When love takes over as his entrance music. Scott Tyson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Harper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Tyson! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson stuffs the takedown. Harper shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tyson defends it nicely. Tyson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Harper gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Harper is trying to reverse the position but instead Tyson has taken his back - oops! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tyson is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Harper has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Harper trying to control the action but Tyson just sinks the hooks in. The referee is taking a good look at Harper as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Tyson!
Harper is trapped and Tyson is scoring with shots to the head and body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson doesn't have the hooks in and Harper manages to turn into his guard.
Harper wants to get up but he can't break Tyson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Harper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tyson pulls Harper in close to prevent any damage. Tyson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tyson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tyson trying to control the position.
Harper trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Harper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tyson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Harper's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Harper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson drops back looking for a leg! Harper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harper manages to kick Tyson off! Tyson jumps back into Harper's guard. Tyson looks gassed! Tyson trying to control but Harper is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harper is working an open guard so Tyson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tyson misses with a two punch combination.
Harper doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tyson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Harper's guard now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harper has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tyson doesn't defend quickly enough and Harper has managed to lock this one up! Can Tyson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Harper on a fantastic submission victory.
