Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Nansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kai Ace will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcos Nansen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kai Ace! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ace is looking to clinch but Nansen is avoiding it.
Nansen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nansen is looking for a kimura but Ace is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nansen to get the leverage. Ace is looking to improve his position.
Ace looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ace tries to kick Nansen off but Nansen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ace is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nansen pulls his head out easily. Nansen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ace misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Nansen is trying to control. Ace wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ace throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ace pushes Nansen up against the cage in a clinch. Ace stops a takedown attempt from Nansen.
Nansen tries to pull guard but Ace won't allow it.
Nansen is trying to drag Ace to the mat but Ace just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcos Nansen. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short right from Ace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ace stalls. Ace comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Nansen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ace walks away with a smile on his face. Nansen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A slapping leg kick lands for Ace.
Ace closes the distance and pushes Nansen back into the cage. Ace is trying to maintain a safe position but Nansen gets an underhook and turns Ace into the cage. Nansen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ace fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nansen circles away from the clinch attempt.

Nansen scores a takedown into full mount! Nansen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ace tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nansen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Ace?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nansen blocks Ace's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Ace sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ace is trying to get back to full guard. Ace is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nansen pulls his head out easily. Ace looks gassed! Ace trying to control here.
Ace is trying to stand up here but Nansen is controlling him well. Nansen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ace! Ace keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nansen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Nansen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Nansen lands a big elbow. Ace wants to control but Nansen is having none of it. Nansen dominating with strikes here. Nansen wants to control the pace but Ace is squirming around nicely. A nice elbow there by Nansen. Nansen looking to finish Ace with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ace!
That's four minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Ace really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Nansen doesn't have the hooks in and Ace manages to turn into his guard.

Ace drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nansen dives on top into guard. Ace looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcos Nansen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nansen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ace is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nansen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ace sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Nansen staying calm. Nansen scores with a couple of short elbows. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ace tries to bench press Nansen off him but Nansen keeps the position. Nansen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ace tries to buck Nansen off but Nansen is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Ace's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ace wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ace is pressing down on Nansen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ace has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Nansen has passed into side control.
Ace manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Ace is not content to let Nansen control the position. Nansen stops Ace from getting back to his feet.
Ace is staying active underneath Nansen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ace is looking for a sweep. Nansen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nansen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Marcos Nansen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nansen with a couple of short strikes. Nansen is going olschool here, as he tries to force Ace to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ace shrugs it off. Ace can't escape the position.
You get the feeling that Ace really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nansen prevents Ace from getting the reversal. Ace in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Ace tries to hold on but Nansen pushes him away. Nansen throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ace because Nansen loaded up on that one. Ace squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nansen looking to control but Ace is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ace in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nansen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ace lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ace. Nansen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nansen lands in his opponent's guard. Ace is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nansen is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nansen is working Ace over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Ace is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Nansen has picked Ace up - he's going for a ride! Nansen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Nansen stalling away here and it's allowed Ace to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Ace keeping moving, preventing Nansen from controlling successfully. Ace trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Ace wants to sweep but no luck. Nansen tries to free his leg and advance position but Ace is retaining full guard. Ace utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nansen wants to pass the guard but Ace is keeping the position. Ace trying to keep a closed guard but Nansen is proving a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ace throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Nansen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ace is looking to reverse the position. Ace looking for a sweep but Nansen has passed into full mount! Oh no! Ace is looking to get to half guard. Nansen scoring with strikes but Ace is staying in there. Kai Ace has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nansen looking to finish with strikes here!
And that's the end of the fight! Marcos Nansen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nansen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
