Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ross Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Funch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Funch will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Winner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Funch! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Funch tries to keep at a distance but Winner has taken the fight into the clinch. Winner could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Winner is looking to break free of the clinch but Funch has double underhooks. Winner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Winner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Winner tries a head kick but it misses.
Funch looks for a takedown but Winner sprawls well. Funch swats away the attempt to clinch by Winner. Winner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Funch is looking to clinch. Nice takedown defense from Winner. No joy for Funch on that attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ross Winner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Funch. Winner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Funch swats him away and circles back towards the center. Winner gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Winner lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Winner.

Winner turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Winner manages to end up in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winner prevents Funch from escaping the position. Funch is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Winner wants to stand up but Funch is controlling the position.
Funch moves into full guard.
Winner would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Winner won't allow Funch to sweep him here. Funch looking for a guillotine here but Winner defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Funch working a defensive guard here.
Winner wants to control from the top but Funch keeps moving. Funch controlling the position. Winner lands a couple of digs. Winner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Funch on the ground. Winner is breathing heavily. Funch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Winner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Winner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Winner controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Funch has a closed guard, preventing Winner from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Funch wants to sweep but no luck. Winner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Funch thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Winner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Funch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Winner has managed to get both his arms back between Funch's legs - danger averted. Funch trying to keep a closed guard but Winner is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Funch wants to sweep here but Winner controlling him for the moment. Winner trying to control but Funch is working from the bottom. Winner trying to stand up but can't free himself from Funch's guard. Funch is trying to control the position but Winner postures up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Funch is on top in guard.
Funch wants to control from the top but Winner keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ross Winner will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Funch clinches. Funch tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Funch looking for a takedown. Funch is looking to break free of the clinch but Winner has double underhooks. Winner wants the takedown. Funch is fighting it off but Winner persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Funch's guard against the cage. Winner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Funch swivels though and keeps the full guard. Winner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Winner misses with the combination.
Funch drives through with a takedown into guard. Winner wants to stand but Funch is controlling the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Winner keeping moving, preventing Funch from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Funch won't allow Winner to get back to his feet. Funch gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ross Winner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Funch shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Funch wants to clinch up but Winner keeps it at a distance. Funch tries to clinch up but Winner circles away and keeps his distance. Funch fails with a takedown attempt. Ross Winner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Funch. Funch throws a head kick that half lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Winner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Winner circles away from the clinch attempt and Winner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Funch misses with a head kick.
Funch tries to clinch but Winner moves out of range. Winner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Funch but Funch pushes him off and we're back to square one. Funch tries to clinch up but Winner circles away and keeps his distance. Funch shoots in looking for a takedown. Winner tries to sprawl out of it but Funch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Winner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Winner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Funch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Funch tries to avoid it but Winner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Funch to the ground. Funch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Funch tries to clinch up but Winner circles away and keeps his distance. Funch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Funch content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Funch wants to take a breather but Winner is having none of it. Funch works his foot free and advances to mount. Winner is squirming around, avoiding Funch's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Funch jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Winner manages to avoid the submission attempt. Winner is looking to regain half guard here but Funch keeps moving and retains side control. Winner misses with a strike from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Funch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Funch drops back looking for a leg! Winner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Winner manages to kick Funch off! Funch jumps back into Winner's guard. Funch wanted to stand there but Winner had control of the position. Funch is looking to work some ground and pound but Winner has wrist control. Funch wants to control from the top but Winner keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Funch passes into half guard. Funch is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Winner is looking to control Funch's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Winner avoid being mounted? Funch seems to be working for a kimura but Winner defends the submission attempt. Winner is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winner punching from the bottom.
Funch blocks the strikes from Winner.
Funch is trying to control the action in half guard but Winner is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Funch closes the distance and clinches up with Winner, looking for a takedown. Funch pushes Winner against the cage but Winner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ross Winner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Funch. Funch is looking to clinch. Funch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Winner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Winner is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice cross by Funch. Funch lands a right hook to the body.
Funch closes the distance but Winner moves to the side and Winner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Winner. Funch wants a takedown but no success here.

And that's the end of the fight! Ricardo Funch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Funch has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
