Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bradshell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Halo. Eddie Bradshell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradshell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A combination from Johnson does no damage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
Bradshell leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bradshell wants to clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Bradshell 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Eddie Bradshell has been cut.
Johnson looks to land a right hand but Bradshell moved out of range.
A good leg kick by Bradshell.
Bradshell is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.

and Bradshell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bradshell wants to stand but Johnson is controlling the position.
Bradshell wants to get back to his feet but Johnson passes into half guard.

Johnson thows a huge punch but Bradshell dodges it nicely.
Bradshell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bradshell wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Johnson wants to stand and escape but Bradshell is having none of it.

Bradshell decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!
Bradshell clinches but Johnson breaks the clinch
and Johnson moves into the clinch.
Johnson is working Bradshell over against the cage.

Bradshell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Johnson.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bradshell pushes off an throws an elbow but Johnson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Bradshell throws an elbow but misses.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eddie Bradshell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Johnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnson tests Bradshell's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bradshell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bradshell tries a knee to the head but Johnson blocks it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That has opened up Eddie Bradshell's cut even more.
Johnson thows a body shot but no joy.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bradshell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Bradshell sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Good work by Johnson as he checks the leg kick.
Bradshell walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Johnson throws a combination. Bradshell tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bradshell throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Dwayne Johnson is winning the standup battle so far.
Bradshell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bradshell wants to clinch
and Johnson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Johnson throws a combination that misses
and Bradshell counters with an outside leg kick.
Bradshell is breathing heavily.
Johnson swings for the body but Bradshell moves out of range.
Johnson throws a jab when Bradshell was well out of range.

Johnson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bradshell slips under a jab.
Bradshell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bradshell did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.

Eddie Bradshell's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eddie Bradshell's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
