Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doran Connell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connell has chosen Rob Kelly - Rockstar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy gets the takedown into side control.
Hardy trying to control the position but Connell is working away.

Hardy wants to control but Connell is keeping him busy.
Connell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Connell is looking for a sweep.
Hardy is looking to take a break and control but Connell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hardy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Connell walks away with a smile on his face. Hardy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
