Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamster Hamill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rush - Spirit of Radio. Hamster Hamill has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Luiz Silva's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hamill tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hamill rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Hamill.
Hamill throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Hamill keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Hamill counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Hamill is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hamill wants to pass the guard but Silva is defending well.
Silva wants to get back to full guard but Hamill has passed into side control.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Hamill counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hamill swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hamill's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Hamill gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Hamill tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A lazy left from Silva finds it's target.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hamill was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Hamill shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hamill is working away from the top position though.
Hamill wants to get back to his feet.

Hamill escapes and gets back to his feet.
Silva bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

The crowd cheers as Hamill lands an impressive looking overhand right. Silva doesn't seem phased though.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hamill looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Luiz Silva showed his dominance in that final round.
