Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Oak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Waterman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Waterman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Oak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Waterman! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waterman scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Steve Oak has been cut. Waterman takes the fight into the clinch. Waterman is pressed up against the cage. Oak has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Waterman down to the mat. Waterman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Oak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Oak looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oak darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Waterman is trying to control but can't.
Waterman is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Oak pulls his head out easily. Oak moves into full mount! Waterman won't be happy about that! Poor strikes thrown by Oak there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Waterman gets back to half guard. Oak could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Oak trying to control from Waterman's half guard. Waterman has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oak preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oak working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Waterman looking for a sweep. Not yet Waterman, not yet. Oak postures up.
Waterman looking for a guillotine here but Oak defends easily.
Waterman controls Oak momentarily but Oak frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Oak stopping the sweep attempt from Waterman. Oak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Waterman on the ground. Oak is posturing up here but Waterman has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Oak tries to roll out but it's too tight and Oak has to tap! Slick submission there by Waterman!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Josh Waterman!
