Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Javier Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sirius Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Black there.
Black takes the fight into the clinch.
Black escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Black moves into the clinch.
Black unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Black misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Silva.
Black content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Black creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Silva's defenses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Silva dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.
Nice defenses there by Silva.

Silva is going olschool here, as he tries to force Black to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Black shrugs it off.

Black bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Black can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.
Black is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Black as he jumps to the side.

and Black makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Black forces Silva back against the cage and clinches.
Black escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Black tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Black's guard.
Black wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Black is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Black manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Black's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Black is pressing down on Silva's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Silva passes Black's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sirius Black has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Silva winds up and cracks Black with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Silva drops an elbow to the side of Black's head.

Black wants to sweep but Silva has passed to side control!
Javier Silva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Black is not content to let Silva control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Silva passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Black!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
