The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
christ tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zuganov swivels and escapes.
christ looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Zuganov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Zuganov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. christ was covering up waiting for the punch and Zuganov finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Zuganov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Zuganov throws and elbow that misses. christ uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Zuganov's guard. Nice move by christ!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

so christ counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

jesus christ showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Zuganov lands a jab-cross combination.
christ misses with an uppercut. Zuganov saw that one coming.

Zuganov takes the fight into the clinch.
Zuganov jumps guard but christ stands there with Zuganov around his waist. Zuganov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Zuganov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. christ just stands there and leans against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
christ lands a big shot there that rocks Zuganov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Zuganov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
