Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, michael murta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Crouch!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
murta gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Crouch.
murta throws a right and a left that both miss.
murta fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Crouch swats away the attempt to clinch by murta.
murta shoots for a takedown but Crouch saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
murta tries to clinch up.
murta wants to clinch up but Crouch keeps it at a distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from murta.
Crouch connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
murta is looking to clinch.
Crouch tries to land a leg kick but murta saw it coming and moves away.
murta really is a fat lump.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Crouch instigates a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Crouch's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Crouch is pushing murta up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Crouch has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

murta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Crouch lands a jab to murta's midsection.
murta tries to clinch up

and Crouch moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Crouch's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Crouch wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

murta decides to pull guard.
murta is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Crouch wants to improve his position but murta is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crouch keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Crouch manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Crouch clinches with his opponent.

murta breaks the clinch.
Crouch lands a straight punch to the body, keeping murta at a distance.
murta is breathing heavily.
Good standup being displayed there by Crouch as he connects with a hook.
Crouch cracks murta with an open hand slap.
murta looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
murta closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Crouch counter with a right hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
murta clinches but Crouch breaks the clinch
and Crouch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Crouch is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! murta hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jacob Crouch!
