Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mad Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Klitscho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reid comes to the cage accompanied by Drop the world. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mad Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Klitscho!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Reid fails to land with a series of punches.
Klitscho misses with a wild combination.
Klitscho gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Reid listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Reid scores with a hook to the body. Klitscho takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A combination from Klitscho does no damage.
Klitscho throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Reid counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Reid scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Reid moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Ivan Klitscho has been cut.
Klitscho with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Reid to score with a decent uppercut.
Reid fails with an attempt to clinch.
Klitscho throws a nice looking combination but Reid bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Klitscho falls off balance throwing a combination
and Reid counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Klitscho tries to close the distance and clinch but Reid swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Reid will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reid fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A right-left combo lands from Reid.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick from Klitscho lands but Reid takes it in his stride.
Reid fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Reid bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Klitscho's head.
Reid connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Klitscho throws a combination that misses
and Reid counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Reid scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Klitscho looks gassed!
Reid comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A shot to de liver by Reid. Beautiful body shot.
Reid works Klitscho's body with a nice hook.
Reid's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Reid duly obliges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A right-left combo lands from Reid.
Reid lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Reid lands with a big left! Klitscho is wobbled badly! Reid comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Klitscho to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mad Reid!
