Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar has chosen Mama Said Knock you Out as his entrance music. Juan Salazar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leroy Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Salazar! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore misses with a head kick.
Salazar shoots in for a takedown but Moore shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Moore shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salazar as he jumps to the side. Salazar misses with a two punch combination.
Salazar stuffs the takedown. A combination from Salazar does no damage. Salazar throws a series of punches but Moore avoids them all with ease. A jab-cross combination lands for Salazar and sends Moore crashing to the mat! Salazar follows him down to the mat - Moore regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Leroy Moore has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Salazar is trying to work for a kimura but Moore is defending well.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moore tries to get out of the position. Moore has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moore pushes Salazar off looking to stand but Salazar dives back in and keeps control.

Moore's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moore is breathing heavily. Moore is bucking up trying to escape but Salazar cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Salazar jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Moore manages to avoid the submission attempt. Salazar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Moore is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Salazar has just dragged him back down to the mat. Salazar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Salazar lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Moore down.

Salazar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
