Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gregory Sink!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Walker!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sink shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sink.
Sink lunges at Walker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Walker's hand.
No luck for Sink with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Sink. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walker drops Sink with a left and a right! Oh, Sink is hurt - Walker dives into side control looking to finish!


It looks like Gregory Sink has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sink is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Walker is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Walker controlling his opponent.
Sink is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sink working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker controlling from the full mount.
Sink tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Walker sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Walker's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Walker stands up from mount. Strange move.

Sink moves into the clinch successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A short uppercut from Walker.
Sink is trying to drag Walker to the mat but Walker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Sink is breathing heavily.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sink throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Walker jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Walker drops Sink with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sink looks back up at him and smiles so Walker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Gregory Sink's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walker catches Sink napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Sink to the canvas!


Sink is rocked!


Gregory Sink's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Walker gets to his feet - Sink follows without any prompting.
Oh Sink is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Walker closes the distance and clinches.
Sink seems to have got his legs back now.

Walker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Walker lands a slapping body shot.
Walker is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Sink hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Paul Walker!
