Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vice Grips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giant Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vice Grips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Giant Kang!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang wants to clinch up but Grips keeps it at a distance.
Grips throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Grips lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
No joy there for Grips, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kang pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Grips throws a head kick but Kang moves out of range.
Grips is breathing heavily.
Grips gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Kang working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
It looks like Vice Grips has been cut.
Still in the clinch, Kang scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kang scores with a shot to the side of Grips's head.
Kang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Grips throws a sloppy head kick
and Kang counters with a good low kick that Grips was not able to check.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kang lands a nice looking kick to the body. Grips takes a step back to recover.
Kang cracks Grips with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kang has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Grips to stand back up!
Grips is rocked!
Kang throws a quick head kick that knocks Grips silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Kang is up on the ropes, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Giant Kang!
