The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassemiro misses with a wild combination.
Cassemiro lands with a nice combination. Souza backs away looking to recover.
Souza throws the left hand but Cassemiro avoids the punch easily.
Cassemiro misses with the combination.
Vitor Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cassemiro goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Vitor Souza has been cut.
Souza dodges the punch combination from Cassemiro.
Souza fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fighters circling - Souza throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Souza looks to throw the jab but Cassemiro is out of range.
Cassemiro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A jab-cross combination lands for Cassemiro and sends Souza crashing to the mat! Cassemiro follows him down to the mat - Souza regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
