Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Young Buck, Ludacris, TI, & The Game - Stomp. Mick Lenny has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryan Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mick Lenny!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lenny scores with a nice strike.
Williams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Lenny, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Lenny against the cage but Lenny circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lenny just misses with a punch to the body.
Lenny swats away the attempt to clinch by Williams.
Lenny lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Williams backs up against the cage.
Williams tries to clinch up but Lenny circles away and keeps his distance.
Lenny will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lenny looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range.
Lenny works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Good exchange - Lenny coming out on top.

Lenny clinches up against the cage.
Williams is working for takedown but Lenny is calmly controlling the position for now.
Williams misses with an elbow strike.
Williams looking to stall.

Lenny breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Lenny makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Williams is breathing heavily.

A jab-cross combination lands for Lenny and sends Williams crashing to the mat! Lenny follows him down to the mat - Williams regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Lenny decides to stand up.
Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lenny misses with a jab, cross combination.

Williams seems to have got his legs back now.

Lenny closes the distance and clinches.

Lenny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Williams wants to clinch

and Lenny counters with a left and a right that hurts Williams! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Lenny jumps into full mount!
Lenny tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Williams is desperately trying to improve his position but Lenny has a good base and remains in mount.
Williams wants to control but Lenny is having none of it.
Williams blocking the ground and pound.
Lenny wants to get back to his feet but Williams is holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lenny wants to stand but Williams is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Williams can't escape the position.

Lenny get's back to his feet.
Williams has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lenny fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Williams looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lenny lands with a straight right. Williams didn't see that one coming.
Lenny looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lenny drops Williams with a left and a right! Oh, Williams is hurt - Lenny dives into side control looking to finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
You can see the frustration on Williams's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Williams is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lenny is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Lenny tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Williams is looking for a sweep.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lenny stands up.
Lenny jabs at Williams's body.
Williams ducks right into an uppercut from Lenny.
Lenny lands an overhand right.
Lenny slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lenny lands a head shot.
Williams gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lenny.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lenny moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Williams goes down! Can Lenny finish him!?
Lenny seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Lenny wanted to stand there but Williams had control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mick Lenny dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ryan Williams's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Lenny clinches with his opponent.
Lenny is trying to force a seperation but Williams has the dominant position.
Lenny digs a right hand into Williams's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Williams's gas tank.

Lenny's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lenny lands with a shot to the body.
Williams clinches but Lenny breaks the clinch
and Lenny counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lenny with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Mick Lenny seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Lenny closes the distance and pushes Williams back into the cage.
Lenny has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lenny taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Lenny wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Lenny manages to break the clinch.
Williams moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Williams has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lenny finds it's way round the side to connect with Williams's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lenny connects with the punch.

Lenny lands with a big right hook that stumbles Williams - he's out on his feet here! Lenny follows up with another monster hook that separates Williams from consciousness! Williams falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Lenny stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mick Lenny!
