Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adamh Pearse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pearse throws a head kick but White moves out of range.

It looks like Fred White has been cut. Pearse has White up against the cage in a clinch.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Adamh Pearse. Pearse fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt White. Pearse doesn't manage to clinch there - White circles away.

White takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pearse moves into the clinch. Pearse avoiding damage.
White is trying to drag Pearse to the mat but Pearse just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. White takes a knee right on the jaw!

White throws a right hand that Pearse ducks under and follows up with a left that Pearse also avoids with ease. Pearse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Pearse closes the distance and pushes White back into the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Pearse tries to land a knee to the head but White blocks with his arms.

Pearse manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pearse scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Adamh Pearse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! White takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Pearse lands a right hook to the body.

The cut above Fred White's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Pearse stalling the fight.
Pearse lands an elbow inside. Pearse manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Pearse for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pearse gets underhooks to prevent White's takedown attempt.

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pearse to score with a decent uppercut. White takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Pearse goes for a high kick. It partially lands. White shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Pearse darts in trying to clinch and White makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

White drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pearse gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. White tries to pull guard but Pearse won't allow it.
Pearse lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Pearse breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pearse lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. White's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pearse wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pearse connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Pearse looks to score with a jab to the body but White is just out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adamh Pearse dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Fred White's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
White bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. White tries to move into full mount but can't pass Pearse's legs. White wants to stand but Pearse is controlling his arm. White goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pearse has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for White but great work by Pearse. Both fighters are breathing heavily. White tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Pearse presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Pearse takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. White keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pearse is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pearse closes the distance but White moves to the side and White counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Pearse blocking the ground and pound attempt from White. Pearse pushes White off looking to stand but White dives back in and keeps control.
White wants to pass to mount but Pearse is defending the position. Pearse wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is trying to control. Pearse wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pearse has one foot on White's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Pearse throws a nice outside leg kick. White shoots for a takedown but Pearse saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pearse tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault. White throws a body punch but Pearse moves out of range. Pearse lands a nice looking body shot.
Pearse darts in and clinches White up against the cage. Pearse is pushing White up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Pearse escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pearse rushes White and presses him up against the cage. Pearse lands a knee to the body.

Pearse will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning White up against the cage. Pearse tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Pearse is struggling to control the position. Pearse tried to land a shot to the body but connects with White's elbow. Fred White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Adamh Pearse is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. White misses with a punch to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adamh Pearse. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pearse, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
