Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adamh Pearse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

White bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

White goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pearse has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for White but great work by Pearse.

White tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Pearse presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Pearse takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pearse has one foot on White's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

White shoots for a takedown but Pearse saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pearse tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adamh Pearse.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pearse, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
