PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between YB Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mykal Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sol kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is SFIV - Theme of Ryu 2. Zulu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shyne ft. Barrington Levy - Bad Boyz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sol misses the shot to the body.
Zulu throws a low kick but Sol avoids it.

Mykal Zulu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sol goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Zulu turns into him and now he's in Sol's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sol bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zulu's guard.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Zulu in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Mykal Zulu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
