Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between hasan husssain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Syd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Syd has chosen Poisen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. husssain is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Don Syd will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, hasan husssain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Syd!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syd lands with a kick to the temple. husssain shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
husssain is breathing heavily.
A combination from Syd does no damage.
Syd moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Syd tries to close the distance and clinch but husssain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Syd looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Syd drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Syd decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Syd drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Syd stands up over husssain, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Syd stands up from guard. Let's bang!
husssain stuffs the takedown attempt from Syd. Syd gets slowly back to his feet.

Syd tries to clinch up.
husssain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Syd to score an easy takedown into full guard.
husssain doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Syd stays in close to husssain's body and controls the position.
Syd pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. husssain is keeping the position for now.
Syd wants to control from the top but husssain keeps moving.
Syd must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Syd shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts husssain as he jumps to the side.
Syd throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

husssain shoots in for a double leg but Syd sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and husssain counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Syd!
husssain wants to control the pace but Syd is squirming around nicely.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

husssain closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
husssain is keen to just control but Syd is a slippery customer.
husssain throws a strike but Syd avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Syd wants to stand and escape but husssain is having none of it.
