The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voronov connects with a solid leg kick.
Voronov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Connor as he avoids it easily.
Connor tries to clinch up but Voronov circles away and keeps his distance.
Voronov closes the distance and clinches.
Connor ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Connor no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Voronov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Connor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Voronov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Voronov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
