Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oj Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Denmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Smooth Criminal . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denmark shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Brown wants to get back to his feet.

Brown is trying to stand back up but Denmark is controlling him

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Brown tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brown's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Brown keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Denmark's efforts to push away.

Denmark bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brown's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown tries to score with some ground and pound. Denmark controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Brown seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Denmark wants to sweep but no luck.
Denmark manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Brown is squirming around, avoiding Denmark's attempts to control the action.

Brown has left one of his arms exposed and Denmark doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Brown screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
