Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Grim throws out a leg kick but Freak moves out of range and Grim only half commits.
Freak has managed to clinch.
Freak content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Freak successfully pulls guard.
Grim stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Grim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Grim misses with a takedown attempt
so Freak counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Freak stopping the sweep attempt from Grim.
Grim is breathing heavily.

Freak missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Freak decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Steve Grim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freak darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Freak keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Freak wants to stand up but Grim is controlling the position.

Freak shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grim's guard.

Freak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Freak drops back, looking for a kneebar! Grim looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Grim looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Grim!
Freak can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Freak is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Grim decides to stand back up. Grim steps back and let's Freak get back to his feet.
Grim drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Grim lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Grim trying to control the position from guard on top but Freak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Freak doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Grim gets to his feet - Freak follows without any prompting.
Grim moves into range and clinches up with Freak.
Freak goes for a takedown in the clinch but Grim prevents it.
Steve Grim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steroid Freak.
Grim's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Freak fails with the takedown
and Grim counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Freak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steroid Freak dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Grim tries to clinch but Freak moves away
and Freak counters with a head kick.
Freak has his takedown stuffed
and Grim decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Freak's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Freak is on top in guard.
Freak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Grim working for a triangle but Freak defends it easily.
Freak pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Grim is keeping the position for now.

Grim looking to hit a scissor sweep but Freak is one step ahead there.
Steroid Freak has got the better of the ground game so far.
Freak would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Freak tries to free his leg and advance position but Grim is retaining full guard.
Grim wants to stand up but Freak is controlling him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Grim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Freak moves away.
Freak fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Freak shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Steve Grim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steroid Freak.
Grim doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Freak counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Freak decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Grim, up you get!

Freak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Grim as he jumps to the side.
Grim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Freak tries to hold on but Grim postures up.
Freak is just holding on here. Grim manages to take his back.
Grim not allowing Freak to control his hands.
Grim is landing with strikes from the back.

Grim doesn't have the hooks in and Freak manages to turn into his guard.
Freak pushes down on Grim's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Grim is looking for a sweep. Freak is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Freak is working for a submission of some sort.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Steve Grim will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Freak is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Grim's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Grim is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Freak defends it well.
Grim is just content to waste time from the top position. Freak takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Freak had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Grim is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Freak Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Grim's back instead.
Freak is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Grim. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Freak wants to control but Grim manages to buck him off and is now in Freak's guard! Nice work there by Grim!

Freak has his foot on Grim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grim works his way back into a safe position though.
