Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go Hard. Kirk Murphy acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinton Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kirk Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Murphy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Kirk Murphy has been cut.
Murphy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Murphy misses the jab.
Murphy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Quinton Jackson has been cut.
Murphy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jackson is looking for a sweep. Murphy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Murphy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Murphy is looking to advance position but Jackson won't allow it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Murphy is thwarting Jackson's attempts to control the position.
Jackson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Murphy on the ground.
Murphy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Murphy is pressing down on Jackson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jackson is holding on for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson tries to clinch but Murphy moves out of range.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murphy tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murphy to the ground. Murphy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jackson tries to clinch up.
Some wild striking there from Murphy.
Murphy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard.
Murphy stands up over Jackson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jackson can't keep his opponent in guard - Murphy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Murphy looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Murphy lands a nice short elbow.
Murphy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson trying to hold on to Murphy's head to control him but Murphy postures up.
Murphy moves into full mount! Jackson won't be happy about that!
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Murphy is landing with some decent strikes but Jackson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Murphy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jackson's face.
Quinton Jackson's cut is getting worse.
Murphy looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Murphy lands a heavy elbow.

Quinton Jackson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Quinton Jackson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
