Mcloud has chosen Llama song as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Mcloud lands but Ireland takes it in his stride.
Mcloud avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ireland throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mcloud misses with a straight left.
Ireland throws a left that rocks Mcloud and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ireland dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mcloud regain composure!
It looks like Freddie Mcloud has been cut.
Ireland tries to advance to mount but Mcloud denies him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ireland in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Mcloud tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ireland wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mcloud being controlled for a moment.

Ireland controls the position.
Ireland has knee on belly momentarily but Mcloud bucks him off and regains half guard.
Ireland is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Mcloud gets back to full guard.
Mcloud trying to keep a closed guard but Ireland is proving a slippery customer.
Ireland tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcloud is retaining full guard.
Ireland controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ireland trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Mcloud manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Ireland is looking to sweep but instead, Mcloud has passed into half guard.
Mcloud is keen to just control but Ireland is a slippery customer.
Mcloud prevents Ireland from standing back up.
Mcloud is looking for a kimura here.
Ireland keeping hold of Mcloud's head, controlling as best he can.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ireland is trying to stand up here but Mcloud is controlling him well.
Ireland is refusing to be controlled, as Mcloud sits in half guard.
Ireland preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Ireland slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ireland throws a jab when Mcloud was well out of range.
Ireland throws a hook but Mcloud blocks it.
Mcloud connects with a crisp jab.
Ireland looks to land a left hand but Mcloud moved out of range nicely.
Ireland throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch lands to the side of Mcloud 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mcloud throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ireland on the side of the head.
Ireland misses with the combination.
Billy Ireland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ireland drops Mcloud with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ireland follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
